Koshi Tappu wildlife Reserve is a well maintained place by the authority which is located at the eastern region. It is a safe place despite having wild creatures there. The animals are well taken care of. We had lunch at a nice restaurant nearby at a reasonable cost.

The Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is an important wetland area situated in the southeastern corner of Nepal. It is one of Asia’s finest bird watching areas. It was originally established to protect the last remaining population of Asian wild buffalos in Nepal. It is known for its successful management of wetland.
EditTransports are available from Kathmandu to Kakarbhitta and Biratnagar. Tourists should get off the bus in Jamuha, from there the reserve headquarters is 2.5 km
EditThe area is mainly composed of tall grasslands. There are also small portions of Khair sissoo forest. The animals in the reserve include wild buffalo, Hog deer,wild boar, Spotted deer, blue bull,python, gangetic dolphin, Gharial crocodile and 441 species of birds.

Koshi Tappu wildlife Reserve is a place full of greenery. The people in charge handles the wild animals with care and love. This place is really well maintained by the responsible authority. We were satisfied with our little tour amongst the wild lives who grew up there.

We visited the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve while travelling Nepal. It's situated at the eastern side of Nepal. This place showed us the diversity of wildlife and a different kind of land type. We really enjoyed the tour.

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is a place natural beauty. We found greenery everywhere. It is a wetland covering an area of 175 kilometre square. So the area is really vast. The area is a sum of mudflats, reed beds, water marshes floodplain of Sapta Kosi River. So this place is basically a wetland.
