Madhutila eco park is located at Sherpur. The exact location is Puragaon Union under the Madhutila Forest Range in Nalitabari Upazila of Sherpur district of Bangladesh. It's basically an ecological preserve with plants and wildlife. The place is a bit hilly and beautiful as well.

Madhupur National Park is our country's oldest natural forest. This woodland is about a century old. It is Bangladesh's third-largest natural forest. The forest's infinite beauty is simply stunning. This forest was also known as a Gajari forest by the locals. Because of its natural beauty, this forest is a popular tourist destination.

Modhupur forest is notable for its Sal trees. There are around 176 plant species in the forest, including 73 tree species, 22 scrub species, 27 climbers, 45 medicinal plants, 8 grass types, and 1 palm species. Sal trees cover around 40% of the forest area. Many different varieties of trees may be found in the forest, including Bahera, Amalaki, Halud Amra, Jiga, Bhadi, Ashwath, Bot, Sarpagandha, Asparagus, Joyna, Bidha, Behula, various types of hill potatoes, shati, and many nameless trees.

Madhupur National Park is mostly known for its Flora and Fauna! About its Fauna, apparently, 176 plant species were identified in the park including 73 tree species, 22 shrub species, 27 climbers, 45 medicinal plants, 8 grasses and last but not least 1 palm species! And to say about Flora, it consists of 190 species including 21 mammals, 140 birds and 29 snakes. Very fascinating place and super family friendly too!
