Hanifaru Bay is one of the most beautiful marine reserves in the world. Situated in Baa Atoll in Maldives,it is a nursery ground for manta rays,sting rays and whale sharks. The government officially declared the bay as a marine protected area in 2009. Later UNESCO included the bay in it's World Biosphere reserve. The place captures the heart of the tourists from all around the world. The atoll is known for having rich coral reef systems,as well as it is the biggest manta feeding hotspot in the world. Tourists here can swim with whale sharks and manta rays.
