What Andrew Benes saying about this place:
The Rim Village Visitor Center is a Crater Lake National Park landmark. It offers several services and stunning views. Tourists visit it at 7,100 feet on the southern side of Crater Lake, one of the deepest lakes in the US. The Rim town Café and Gift Shop serves hot soups, sandwiches, and snacks, and there are numerous options to stay in the town. Eating on the café's patio with lake views is great.
Features include Sinnott Memorial Overlook. The park contains geologic history displays and a steep historic walkway with panoramic views. Built in 1915, Crater Lake Lodge is another national landmark. For overnight guests, it has pleasant rooms and cuisine.
Backcountry passes are sold at the Rim Visitor Center near Crater Lake Lodge, and rangers speak at the Sinnott Memorial. A winter snow walk makes the café and gift shop accessible. Winter snowstorms may restrict roads, but Rim Village is a terrific spot to explore year-round.
Lunching under shaded fire pits and picnic tables is possible at Rim Village Picnic Area. If you're here for a few minutes or all day, Rim Village is entertaining and lovely for all ages.

The Crater Lake Lodge is also just a few comparatively tiny trails aside, and also has a great views of Crater Lake. The view was jaw dropping!!!
