Dhuppani Waterfall

2. The hidden gem of nature, Dhuppani waterfalls remained unnoticed for a long time. A Buddhist monk used to meditate under the waterfalls for several months. The local people went to serve him at certain times in a day,hence the fountain became familiar to people. There is a small cave hidden inside the waterfall,which can not be seen from a distance. The cave is highly popular among the tourists. There are several wild animals in the fountain area, including deer,snakes, wild boar and wild cats.

Girifushi Island

Girifushi island, or Girifushi Thila,also known as rainbow reef,is known as one of the popular diving sites in Northern Maldives. Situated in Kaafu Atoll,the island offers impressive series reefs to explore and magnificent views of the lagoon. While drifting along on the current of Indian ocean, divers can explore through the brightly coloured soft corals. A variety of marine life can be observed, including snappers,lionfish,angelfish,tuna,barracudas and grey sharks. With easy access from Male,Girifushi is a fantastic diving spot both for the beginners and the expert divers.

Dhadimagi Kilhi, one of the two freshwater lakes of Maldives,is located in Fuvahmulah Atoll. It is one of the most visited lakes because of it's calm water and picturesque lush green beauty around. The water of the lake is crystal clear and a great attraction for the tourists who enjoy swimming. The surrounding of the lake is enriched with flora and fauna. Wide variety of birds and insects and butterflies can be spotted in the wetland area. Most of the trees and shrubs found near the lake are unique to this place. The mesmerizing beauty of this place attracts tourists from all around the world.

Shivpuri Nagarjun National Park

The National Park does not have any restaurant or cafe inside of the area so it is best if the tourists carry foods and water. Also there are resorts and restaurants nearby the park,tourists can enjoy food from there as well. The place is well secured by Nepalese Army. Tourists are suggested not to make any sound so it is a great opportunity to enjoy the serenity of raw nature to its fullest. A trip to the park,on the whole,is a complete package of beautiful, tranquil and refreshing experience. One can rejuvenate the mind,body and soul spending a day in wilderness away from the madness of the city.

The gallery has rich collection of Islamic items, locals, royal and traditional dresses of Maldives,and also work of international artists. Unfortunately the gallery doesn't have permanent exhibit, which means there is nothing to see when no exhibition is going on. Different exhibitions here keep up the contemporary craftsmanship of Maldivian individuals. When there is no show, tourists can have the opportunity to have discussion with the artisans and specialists. The gallery plays a vital and devoted role for introducing Maldivian specialities among the tourists from all over the world.
