Qutub Minar

The minaret is 72.5 meters tall, with five stories and a balcony jutting outward. The first three stories are composed of red sandstone, with marble and sandstone for the following two. The minaret's facade is adorned with fluted columns with a 40-centimeter thick red sandstone veneer. The minaret's 397 steps, which lead to the balconies, are another draw. On the walls of the minaret, words from the Holy Quran are engraved in the Kufic style of Islamic calligraphy. The minaret was used to call the devout to the Quwwat-UL-Islam mosque for prayers.

Maldives National Museum

The most impressive aspect of this two-floored building is the display of some prized examples of the lacquer-work boxes for which Maldives is famous, and various pieces of antique technology such as the country’s first gramophone, telephone and a massive computer representing the modern period. Broken pieces of Buddhist and Hindu idols, depictions of political events and, most crucially, a replica of the pen used to sign the ‘Declaration of Independence’ from the British Empire bring the tourist’s attention.

Taj Mahal - monument

The Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is Persian meaning "Crown of Palaces." The tomb is rectangular in shape and is entered through a large doorway with an arch and alcoves on both sides. The entrance has water channels and fountains, making the monument even more magnificent. The Yamuna's reflection of this magnificent sight is almost poetry in its perfection! The Taj Mahal was built over a 42-acre plot of land in 1631, and it took 17 years to complete in 1648!

Ellora Caves

Because of its temples and monasteries, the Ellora Caves is a historical site, a resting place for pilgrims, and a place of devotion. These caves were also well-known due to their proximity to the South Asian trade route. The caves of this monument are Charanandri Hills excavations. It is also worth noting that the presence of Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain buildings at the same location suggests a long period of religious tolerance.

Pilgrims and travelers from all over the world go to this sacred Hindu temple during the Vivah Panchami festival in November and December. It is the city's annual event commemorating Sita and Rama's marriage with several spiritual rites and rituals. Around the temple grounds, you can sense the euphoric moment as well as spiritual environment.

Bindyabasini temple

There are various ways to reach Bindhyabasini temple. You may catch a local bus from your accommodation hotel to the Hari Chowk bus stop and hike up the small hill from there. On the east and northeast sides of the temple, there are two great stone staircases.In 2019, a lift with a maximum capacity of 12 passengers was inaugurated. It is specifically created for differently abled pilgrims and older folks, and there are no fees for individuals with disabilities. Others, on the other hand, impose a certain fee for maintenance.
