Hanuman Dhoka is the royal palace of Kathmandu situated in Durbar square in Central Kathmandu, Nepal. The palace is named after ancient God Hanuman, and is believed to be the protector of the palace. The courtyard of the palace is beautifully decorated with Hindu deities and beautiful windows

Hanuman Dhoka is an ancient architectural site. It was once damaged by an earthquake happened in Nepal. Still it holds its beauty. We were awestruck seeing the nice architectural value. It is a hindu temple, hence prayers were taking place while we were there. It was a nice experience.

This is a hindu temple in an ancient palace. The building holds enormous architectural beauty. The terrace is dome shaped. There's also a museum with the leftovers of the malla kings and Shah dynasty. We wandered around the whole area and were mesmerized.
